In Oct 2000 TEXAS released The Greatest Hits album which peaked at no.1 in the UK becoming the band’s third album to be a no.1 hit. It spanned 1989 to 2000 and has since been certified 6x Platinum for UK sales in excess of 1,974,890 copies by the British Phonographic Industry (info wikipedia)
From there they then embarked on a UK and European Tour starting in Newcastle 2001 and culminating in an epic gig at Bercy, Paris which was recorded and formed part of the fantastic ‘Texas Paris‘ DVD which is still available on amazon TEXAS PARIS DVD
& yes the myth is true there are hidden extras on the DVD 😉 you just need to find someone who knows where to find them and what commands to use…
No Greatest Hits tour would be complete without merchandise, and the tour programme from this series of gigs is a classic.
